Why did Moodings choose to cooporate with River Online?

Christian Brodersen the Head of SEO at Moodings explains that they wanted to work with an agency who has expertise in the German market, and have access to skilled native speakers in Germany and says:

As Moodings is a Danish owned company, they also found some advantages in River Online group having both German and Danish offices.

It was not crucial with a Danish contact person, but it has certainly been a huge plus, especially in explaining how our approach was and what strategy we would have liked to have carried out. In addition, it has of course also been a great advantage to have a capacity like Anders, who knows both SEO in the Danish and German market, and therefore can be aware of all the things about Germany that you as a Danish SEO man do not necessarily know all conditions

What challenges did Moodings face in the German market?

The German market is large, digital, and competitive, and it is therefore essential that you are sharp in your online marketing if you want growth and success!

Moodings faces some strong and popular competitors like „WestWing“. The competitors already have a high-quality website and SEO, and as it turned out that there were several major flaws in Mooding's online presence in the German market, it is therefore necessity for Moodings to optimize on their current website and SEO to be able to compete at the level.

Which strategy do we use to help Moodings?

To create the best basis for success, we work with individualized online marketing, that identifies user wishes and pays attention to also keeping up with relevant (comparable) competitors.

From a SEO-perspective we were having a precise look at what the potential customers as well as Google value and putting it all together in an optimized SEO-concept. We also include Mooding’s individual wishes and preferences in this, to also make it a feel-good-strategy.

How did we make Moodings more competitive in the German market?

First, analysis was made to pinpoint where the current appearance of the website needed to be improved. This resulted in general recommendations on website structure, texts, payment solutions, Impressum, Datenschutz etc. were given to help improve the user-experience.

Next, keyword analysis was created to show relevant topics for potential customers with search volume included. This was necessary in order to create the best possible texts for Moodings in terms of SEO.

Then our senior copywriter started writing SEO-optimized texts to make sure both the users and Google as a search engine was satisfied.

Our most important task is to constantly optimize and work to ensure that Moodings has the best possible SEO conditions for success.
